Meet a zookeeper

Meeting place in the Lobby. Look after the A on the floor and meeting point sign.

Join a zookeeper who will feed, activate or train various animals. The zookeeper chooses an activity based on what is happening at the Aquarium that day. It can be anything from playing with sea lions and otters, to feeding piranhas, seahorses and jellyfish.

Deliver the pacifier

By the carps on the 1st floor

Our carp love to be visited by children who are ready to quit using pacifiers. So it's a special thrill to be able to donate their pacifier to our lively carp gang! As a reward for good effort we issue the child with a diploma and the child gets to feed the fish.

Otter

Gizmo and Bella are European otters. A semi-aquatic predatory mammal in the marten family. This means that they live partly in water and partly on land. In Norway, European otters are found all over the country, but most in the coastal areas from central Norway and northwards. They also do well in water and waterways, and occasionally you can even meet them high up in the mountains.
